Join us for a hands-on introduction to wildlife recording and discover how to start building a picture of the animals and plants living locally to you - whether that’s in your nearby park or a community space you help care for.
During this friendly and practical adult workshop, we’ll explore:
Simple ways to spot and identify wildlife
Useful tools and resources, from field guides to easy-to-use apps
Where to send your sightings so they contribute to local and national conservation efforts
Alongside an indoor session, we’ll head outdoors to Magpies Meadow for a relaxed, guided walk where you can try your hand at bird, wildflower and butterfly recording and learn how you can help record wildlife on this special green space.
